I was talking to a friend the other day about love songs and I asked him what is his all time favorite love song but he can't give a complete answer (because he just had a fight with his *ehem* wife). As for me, my all time favorite love song would be Endless Love. What's yours?

The Week That Was

Hello! Work was toxic last week because of the coming of our new boss. She's not a slave driver at all and she's very approachable but we have to guide her especially with the school activities. So far, the relationship was good. We also got our January-March salary (geez I know it's that late) las Tuesday which was a very good news but then I bought my son a new pair of shoes and also bought the new 2009-2011 national uniform issued by the Department of Education. I have to say that the new national uniform is much better. So anyway, changing the topic...

Let's Play Games

I have been hooked to playing online games lately and once in a while, when I am bored, I just go to facebook and play all of my favorite games there like the Restaurant City, Pet Society, Barn Buddy and Farm Town. I used to play Fashion Wars and Mafia Wars too but I kind of stopped since I find the first four games more interactive than the last two. But I know that there are lots of Fashion and Mafia Wars fans so just to be clear, those games are great too.

Anyway, I found this site:

I am not a real billiards player because I don't think I have enough strength to do the breaking but at least in the virtual world, I can be good at it. Haha!

Selling Kids?

Last Thursday, I weighed my pupils and measured their height. Everyone cooperated but there's this little boy who was hesitant to get weighed. When I called his name, he refused to be weighed in but since he has no choice but to follow my orders, he stepped on to the weighing scale with a slight fear in his eyes. And then this young boy whispered and asked me this astounding question:

"Ma'am, are you going to sell us that's why you're weighing us all?"

It was hilarious. I wonder where he got that idea but it made my day and his parents' too.

The New Boss

On Monday, we will finally meet our new boss in school and everyone's anticipating to meet her. It's a She this time and we all have mixed feelings with the new transition in the campus. I've heard a lot of pleasant things with regards to the new principal so I don't see why I should feel intimidated. No matter how strict your boss is, as long as you're doing your job well, you won't have a problem.

School's cool as usual, the kids are getting rowdy but their parents are very supportive with me which is a good sign. I'm looking forward to teaching the kids well and since we have a new boss, I will be talking to her on Monday and suggest to buy some new FURNITURE for the classroom and I am thinking of suggesting to purchase a bookshelf.

I know this is just a quick post and I am kind of neglecting this blog. I will try to make up and post more school stuffs.
